What is RPL
What is RPL?
At CCM, we recognise that valuable skills and knowledge can be gained through previous employment, formal study, workplace training, and life experience. If you have already developed competencies relevant to your chosen qualification, you may be eligible to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
RPL is an assessment process that evaluates your existing skills and experience against the requirements of nationally recognised units of competency. Where sufficient evidence is provided and competency is demonstrated, students may receive credit towards part or all of a qualification, reducing the need to repeat learning they have already completed.
What is RPL
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is an educational process that evaluates an individual’s existing skills and knowledge—gained through work experience, informal learning, or training—against the criteria of a formal qualification. It enables learners to earn credit or certification without repeating what they already know, helping to accelerate educational pathways and support career growth.
